Opportunities in epiphany allow you to use user research insights evaluate opportunities in your backlog. Within Opportunities, you can link highlight and insight data to ideas, allowing you to build a narrative of user evidence and data to support and prioritize your actionable items.

This helps to better communicate the context and history behind an idea, as well as to drive user-driven decisions for your product.


Creating an Opportunity

  1. Click on the project you’d like to create an idea in.

  2. Click the Opportunities icon in the left navigation bar.

  3. Click the New Opportunity button at the top right corner of the page. This will trigger a sliding right panel where you can title your Opportunity, as well as link evidence and insights.


Connecting Evidence

  1. Click on the Opportunity that you would like to connect Highlights to.

  2. Click on the Evidence tab in the idea panel.

  3. Click the Connect Highlights button in the mid right of the sliding panel.

  4. Select relevant Highlights by clicking the checkboxes in the top left corner of each Highlight card.

  5. Click the Add Selected button at the bottom right corner of the modal.


Linking an Insight to Opportunities

  1. Click on the idea that you would like to connect an insight to.

  2. Click on the Insights tab in the idea panel.

  3. Click the Add Insights button in the top right corner of the section.

  4. Select relevant insights by clicking {checkbox} in the top left corner of each insight card.

  5. Click the Add Selected button at the bottom right corner of the modal.
