Ideas in Epiphany are items that are ready to be acted on by the team. Within Epiphany, you can link highlight and insight data to ideas, allowing you to build a narrative of user evidence and data to support and prioritize your actionable items.

This helps to better communicate the context and history behind an idea, as well as to drive user-driven decisions for your product.


Creating an Idea

  1. Click on the project you’d like to create an idea in.

  2. Click the Ideas icon in the left navigation bar.

  3. Click the New Ideas button at the top right corner of the page.

  4. Enter a name for the Idea.

  5. Click the Create Idea button at the bottom of the modal.

  6. Click the line item for the new idea.

  7. Add a description for the idea in the idea panel.


Linking an Insight to an Idea

  1. Click on the idea that you would like to connect an insight to.

  2. Click on the Insights tab in the idea panel.

  3. Click the Add Insights button in the top right corner of the section.

  4. Select relevant insights by clicking {checkbox} in the top left corner of each insight card.

  5. Click the Add Selected button at the bottom right corner of the modal.
